Fractious Tash is committed to creating new worlds that reflect our own through an off-kilter vision that is urgent, razor-sharp and cheeky to the hilt. Whether igniting new works, or re-inventing the classics, prepare for the vibrant and unforgettable.

Fractious Tash is led by Artistic Director Benjamin Henson and Producer Jason Hodzelmans.

Formed in 2012 with the unforgivingly graphic production, 'Confessions', the company quickly won the Wellington Fringe Rogue Award. Their all-male rebooting of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus was snapped up by Q Theatre's 'Q Presents...' programme, receiving enviable acclaim and a hype-led reception. Joining forces with Last Tapes Theatre Company to present an all-male, dandy-inspired Importance of Being Earnest, with a live soundtrack from the greatest hits of Cher, proved to be a winning combination and sold out during its run at Q Theatre.

The company continues to build through on-going collaboration with some of the country's most inspiring artists and forward-thinking venues.
